I've been where you are. I remember my first year as a principal in a high-need school district with a student population of about 900 and a staff of over 50. I was drowning in paperwork, data, and budgets. Everyday I asked myself, "How can I lead, if I'm too busy managing?"  Everyone was controlling my day except for me! I knew if I was going to make my mark as a leader, I had to find an easy manageable way to structure the school. What started as a quest to conquer my overwhelm has turned into a system that has helped many of my colleagues gain control of their day and confidently show up in their careers like never before.
